Italian Language School - ILS in Otranto
Otranto is a beautiful historic and artistic town on the seaside at 40 km from the main city Lecce, the so called Florence of Southern Italy for its artistical beauties. The city is an important historic and artistic centre because it is rich in remains of the different populations that lived in the Mediterranean area. Otranto is a small town (but in summer it reaches 80.000 inhabitants) placed at a short distance from the other touristical seaside resorts on the beautiful coast. It is also a paradise for all nature lovers. It seems made just for the purpose of holding the interest of the traveller in search of new sensation and appealing to his imagination. Very famous tourist place, Otranto offers several hotels, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, banks. The town overlooks the beautiful beaches with white and fine sand and clear water, and it also offers the possibility to enjoy and to relax with its several pubs, open-air performances and discos.
ILS is open all year round for students of every age, level and nationality, with a friendly and informal atmosphere. The small size of the school, a maximum of 15 students during the peak months and limited to 5 students per class, permits our teaching staff a personalized supervision of each student.
As a difference from traditional Italian Language Schools, lessons are tailored to each student and they can also be individual rather than in a group.
