Accademia il Giglio in Florence
Florence, home of classical Italian and of the Renaissance, is situated in the heart of Tuscany. It is the centre of a magnificent history and culture, examples of which adorn the city even today. It was here that artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci lived and worked, as did poets such as Dante and Boccaccio. Since 1995 Accademia del Giglio is a private school which is specifically aimed at helping international students to gain proficiency in the Italian language. Our school is located in the very heart of Florence and is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. The school places considerable emphasis on the quality of its teaching. All our teachers have at least 3 years’ teaching experience.
Accademia del Giglio offers:
- Intensive Language courses in small classes, all year round, Monday to Friday, seven levels. Classes are small to maximise learning. Maximum number of students per class: 7.
- Super-intensive language courses: a combined programme of intensive Italian language followed by one-to-one tuition.
- One-to-one tuition and Home Tuition programme
- Accommodation service and free Wi-Fi internet connection at school.
