Our Italian school in Verona
Lingua IT primary objective is to immerse students in the real Italy, for this purpose the school offers a range of Cultural Courses, Laboratories and Guided Tours that expose students to Italian life, language and culture.
All the teachers are mother-tongue Italian speakers specially trained to teach Italian to foreign students. With years of practical experience the teachers at the institute boast an enviable level of competency, each of them speaks more than one language and is graduated in literature.
The school is located in the old city centre of Verona, just a short walk from Piazza delle Erbe, the town most beautiful piazza, once home of the ancient Roman Forum. Right in the heart of the city, The school is close to all the public services and luxury boutiques, stylish cafés and Verona’s most important monuments.
CLASSROOMS: All the rooms are well-equipped and luminous, each classroom is fitted with modern and stylish furnishings that contribute to create a quiet and cosy place, perfect for learning, studying and enjoying the courses. All classrooms are air-conditioned in the summer and centrally heated in the winter.
STUDENT COMMON ROOM: the school provide students with a common room where they can chill out, have a coffee, chat with their new friends or read and play with the language games available. The school has assembled a selection of board games, didactic games and learning aids that aim to promote communication skills and interaction between students of all levels. The high- tech common room is equipped with videos, home theatre and stereo system, is also used to host seminars, meetings, conferences, film screenings and special events.
INTERNET POINT: The whole building is covered by a wireless internet network and there are free internet access point with printing facility.
LIBRARY: A comprehensive library is at the disposal of students who are able to borrow books, newspapers and magazines. It includes classical literature and contemporary novels, references books on Italy and Italian art, volumes dedicated to history, cinema, fashion and culture, as well as a wide collection of publications devoted to travel and tourism in Verona, Italy and Europe.
Students have access to a complete collection of the most famous Italian films. People can make autonomous use of the home theatre facility and are also welcome to borrow films overnight, free of charge.
