Accommodation in Torquay
Living in home-stay
Most students stay with local host families. Families are carefully chosen and regularly checked to ensure a high standard of welcome for and compatibility with our students whether young teenagers or professional men and women. Students are normally placed with families living from 10 to 30 minutes from the school.
Our host families are asked to write to their student guests before they arrive and meet them at the bus or train station on arrival in Torquay. Our student accommodation and welfare co-ordinator is always available to talk to students or their host families. Normally you are expected to arrive on the Sunday before your course begins and leave on the Saturday after the course finishes.
Hotels
For those who prefer more independence there is a choice of self-catering apartments, budget to 4-star hotels, guest house and bed and breakfast accommodation all available at a range of prices. Let us know the kind of accommodation and the price you wish to pay and we will try to help you. Students Residence
Accommodation offered in large family houses to between 4-10 students in shared or single rooms. Breakfast, dinner and full board at weekends. Prices the same as standard host family accommodation. Please note that there may be more than one student of the same nationality staying at the same time. This is available in summer only.
