Beginner: you will learn: greetings and introductions; time simple biographical information (i.e., family, job, house, traditions, holidays); descriptions of people and places; living abroad essentials (i.e., ordering in a restaurant, daily situations such as phone calls, health matters, taxi, post office).
Elementary: you will be able to talk about travel experiences; current events; customs; make descriptions of people and places; deal with art and cultural topics; comparing situations and opinions; you will understand the Italian body language.
Pre-Intermediate: you will be able to give instructions and making suggestions; read simple reading comprehension; expressing needs, obligation, possibility; making invitations; expressing preferences and desires.
Intermediate: you will understand context; communicating in different situations (i.e., formal vs. informal); compare and analyze alternative viewpoints; ability to express perspectives.
Upper-Intermediate: you will be able to use idiomatic expressions and phraseology; understand shades of meaning and regional aspects of the language; make judgments and evaluation; expressing emotion.
Advanced: you will demonstrate ability to integrate all the levels; to speak in a clear, yet nuanced mode stylistically adapted to the situation; ability to facilitate conversations; ability to hear, recall and identify the most important points of a conversation.
Basic: 20 hours per week
There is a maximum of 12 students, with a normal average of 10 students per class.
Lessons start at 09:00 and finish at 13:15. 2 hours of grammar + 2 hours of conversation.
Super Intensive “A”: 25 hours per week
09.00 - 13.15 grammar + 5 individual afternoon hours per week with a focus on conversation or culture.
Super Intensive “B”: 30 hours per week
09.00 - 13.15 grammar + 10 individual afternoon hours per week with a focus on conversation or culture.
