Located in Shrewsbury, the heart of the county of Shropshire, Severnvale Academy is the perfect English country location in which to build upon your English studies. Shrewsbury is a small village with a population of 100,000 is an old Tudor town, brimming with history, and lies in the County of Shropshire. Shropshire is situated on the England Wales border and nearly completely surrounded by the river Severn with beautiful countryside. Shrewsbury itself is known for its magnificent Tudor architecture (black and white beamed listed buildings) and while a gentle town, it is still buzzing with things to do, therefore making it a great place to study. Shrewsbury has several transport links, 1-2 hours from Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool airports and well connected by train and bus services to major cities.

Severnvale Academy offers a variety of courses to suit the needs of the individual. It focus is on General English courses and more specified Business and executive English courses. Summer courses for younger students are also offered. Severnvale make sure that their teaching is of top quality with personal attention and flexibility. The minimum age at the college is 20, and the typical age range is 22-55. There are all the facilities you would expect from a language school, computer and listening centres, a library, separate rooms for smokers and non smokers and a sun terrace. There is a total of 9 classrooms and the maximum number of students per class is 6, with an average of 4-5 students. During July and August, only in the morning the maximum number will reach 8 students. Classes last for 45 minutes.
