Accommodation in Shrewsbury
Severnvale Academy recognises that your how you live is extremely important, especially when in a foreign country. Accommodation is carefully chosen and inspected, and you will live walking distance to the Academy. Below are the different types of accommodation on offer.
Homestay for adults
This ‘host family’ option is perfect to experience life in a British household. This includes full board weekends and half board during the week.
Private home for adults
Similar to the homestay, with the same board, the student will have more independence from the host socially.
Executive homestay for adults
Again similar to the homestay but you will have a lovely bedroom in a beautiful home. Packed lunches on weekdays can be provided and students can request private bathrooms.

Hotels
Either Bed and Breakfast only or full board. We have good connections with hotels near Severnvale
Self-catering flat or house
Students will have their own flats and cook themselves. Some facilities may be shared with other adults. This type of accommodation is limited so please inform the school in good time if you are interested.
