Our Italian school in Otranto
ILS-Online is an Italian school and culture centre for foreigners, open all year for students of all age, level and nationality, with a friendly and informal atmosphere, it is located in Otranto and provides Italian Language and Culture Courses.
The School is made up of:
- Three Linguistic rooms (one of which is a multimedia linguistic laboratory)
- A Library
- A Reception
- A Meeting point
- A Room to see Italian movie
ILS is situated in Otranto, in a nice residential district, in a newly renovated independent building, it is 50 meters away from the sea, about 5 minutes walk from the city centre and the railway station.
Classes have a maximum 5 students, using teaching methods that focus on developing conversational skills, without neglecting the study of grammatical structures.
The school pays a lot of attention to the special needs of each student and the teaching method is based on a fundamental communicative approach, where the grammatical elements are taught and practiced through conversation. Students can use a multimedia library (where they can find every kind of book, essay, novel, dictionaries, Italian newspapers, and the most famous films from the Italian cinema) and a linguistic laboratory.
