Accommodation in Cambridge
Homestay Family
Many students choose to stay with a family. We encourage this type of accommodation because the students are totally immerged with the English language, culture and habits of the family. The families live between 10 minutes walking en 30 minutes travelling by bus from the school. The family will provide you with towels bed linen and breakfast and dinner on a daily basis. This type of accommodation is only available if two people are coming together, but you can book a single or double room. An extra fee will be charged during the high season between 17th of June and 15th of September.
Superior Home Stay
Like the normal home stay accommodations, but you will get a private bedroom and private bathroom. There aren’t many places available so you must book early. An extra fee will be charged during the high season between 17th of June and 15th of September.
Economy Residences
In the economy residences, you will stay on a self-catering basis. You can choose between a single and double room which you have to share with someone else. The bathroom, kitchen and common room are to be shared with other students. You can have wireless internet access but you will be charged a small extra fee. A laundry service is provided, as well as bed linen but you have to bring your own towels. You can walk to the school in 30 minutes from your residence. The minimum stay is 8 weeks and only for students from 18-28 years old.
Superior Residences
You will stay in the Hillsroad Residence, this modern residence offers stays on a self-catering basis. There is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, wireless internet aces (you will be charged a small fee to use it) and laundry facilities. Bed linen is provided but you have to bring your own towels. There is a train station close to the residence and the school is only 20-25 minutes away by foot. The minimum stay is 8 weeks.
Superior Summer Residence
This type of accommodation is located in the centre of Cambridge, only 5 minutes away from the school. All the shops, bars, restaurants etc. are within walking distance from your residence. You will stay in comfortable single rooms on a self-catering basis. 2 bathrooms are shared with 6 other students and there is also a shared kitchen with microwave and laundry services. This type of accommodation is only available between 8th of July and and 1st of September.
Guest Houses, B&B, Hotels
We can arrange a guesthouse for you. It is a friendly and comfortable guesthouse, located only 20 minutes walking of 10 minutes travelling by bus from the school. The rooms have a private bathroom, TV, Hairdryer, Ironing and coffee machine. Breakfast is provided and laundry services are available at a small extra fee.
Travelodge Hotel
This good value for money hotel is only a 30 minute walk away from the school. You can also travel by bus, that trip will take about 15 minutes. The rooms have private bathrooms, TV’s, coffee and thee facilities etc. A bowling area, cinema and restaurants are nearby. Breakfast is served at an extra fee.
