Living in home-stay
That is the best type of accommodation for anyone studying English, as it gives you the opportunity to practise using the language that you are learning it. You live your hosts during your stay, eating most of your meals with them, The minimum stay in a home-stay is one term except on the Summer School. After the first term, four weeks notice is usually required on both sides if you wish to move from your home-stay. Please note that one term’s rent an additional two weeks rent, as bond, will be required in advance before your arrival in the UK.
The cost per week of living in home-stay is £95 half-board ( breakfast and evening meal provided) or £ 60 per week room only (self-catering). There is also a £ 30 administration fee for booking this accommodations.
Living in the Hall of Residence
The college can offer students en suite-study bedrooms in a modern hall of residence at Arkwright Hall. It is just a short walk from the English Language Centre.
